Wisdom in religion

Bhakt : Prabhu, people are protesting....

Bhagwan : Again..?

Bhakt : They say that their religious feelings are hurt by a movie.

Bhagwan : Religion hurt ? How ?

Bhakt : They say that the movie makes fun of hinduism and hindu deities. They say this is becoming a trend.

Bhagwan : But that is not done in the movie. The movie only talks about blind faith, superstition and misuse of religion and faith by some people which is totally for their selfish commercial gain. Unfortunately this misuse of religion by such bad elements has gone even to the extent of illegal and criminal activities. The movie is only trying to separate real faith on God from its misuse by some bad elements. Infact such movies are only helping religion by upholding true faith and denouncing bad misuse of faith. This is the wisdom of religion.

Bhakt : Prabhu not only this, there is also issue of conversion which is making people angry.

Bhagwan : The real issue is deep and multi faceted.

Bhakt : How Prabhu....?

Bhagwan : One issue is religion and its followers. Be sure just like no one can hurt me, no one can hurt religion. Faith and Religion are Truth like me. Sentiments based on truth will never get hurt. Yes some people try to distort religion for their own selfish interest. So this issue of conversion is only because of selfish interest. Here one thing must be noted. Why can't people have a good law which prohibits mass conversion by force or greed. Individuals can have change of heart and decide to change 'road' towards me but when masses do that, it is only a reflection of some selfish interest. But this should be handled in a wise and sensible manner. This is what Hinduism is known for. Strength of a religion is wisdom.

Bhakt : Strength of religion Prabhu?

Bhagwan : Yes. I created all religions alike. Some vested interests started using one of the religion and started shouting Islam is in danger. Now see what has happened. Such negativity, such extremism, terrorism, innocents being killed...... what for? Has it helped Islam? Why should Hinduism follow such a path?

Bhakt : True Prabhu it is so sad...

Bhagwan : Hinduism is such a beautiful path. I have given such depth and diversity to this path of mine. Why do they still feel insecure or feel Hinduism is or can be damaged by a movie. Why to have such lack of faith? Religion is great, nation is free and democratic then is it not wise to have good laws to prevent issues like conversion and hurt sentiments. And at the same time there must be strict laws and vigilance against bad elements posing like Godman. Blind faith, superstitition and such fake Godmans are the real black spots on religion.

Bhakt : What is the solution Prabhu ?

Bhagwan : Only solution is to have good laws along with proactive vigilance. These should be applicable to both those who abuse religion by causing fake faith, superstititions and fake Godmans and also to those who are blamed of hurting sentiments of people. Court can easily and quickly decide who is right who is wrong. Media should also play a positive role in promoting wise and scientific temperament. But some of them show programs based on superstition. Doing anything for money is bad and against nation's interest. Atleast people must use their brain and accept only scientific facts. Unfortunately people do not use their brain.

Bhakt : Using brain Prabhu........? Naaraayan !!! Naaraayan !!!

Racism is a crime

Bhakt : Prabhu, people are again angry!

Bhagwan: Now what?

Bhakt: You know everything Prabhu.

Bhagwan: You mean racism?

Bhakt: Yes Prabhu, they are angry, demonstrations going on, there are hot debates in media.

Bhagwan: So racism should end now.

Bhakt: I don't know. But Prabhu what is racism?

Bhagwan: When people show discrimination and try to put down other on the basis of birth in a 'different' community. This can be in beliefs, speech, practices or actions. It can range from single incident of neglect to casteism, regionalism, community violence and even genocide. The impact of this on humanity is very damaging.

Bhakt: Oh so sad Prabhu but why do they do this? You created them all as equal.

Bhagwan: Yes I created them all as equal but they do not realize this. The basic reason is in mindset. People have basic trait of 'proving' them self as better than others. This is true even among individuals. They try best to select something to 'prove' that they are better and others are inferior. Deep core feeling is to assure self as better, stronger or more 'privileged'. Sometimes this is also used as a weapon to settle personal issues. It is like finding weak spot of other person to hit. This is an unfortunate human trait and that is why racism is seen around the world in one form or other. They may call them self civilized but such hate crimes are in reality everywhere in one form or other.

Bhakt: But how can they do so when you have created them all as equal?

Bhagwan: They know this but they do this to hurt others, satisfy own insecurity, own feeling of inferiority or in absolute selfish interest. All this is very deep and will not go away by making laws forget about demonstrations and media debates.

Bhakt: You mean nothing can be done?

Bhagwan: Why not but human beings are in the habit of window dressing. If you see the pattern. There are demonstrations, debates and some laws. But reality is not changing for good but becoming bad to worse. Reason is simple. With every passing day human beings are becoming more and more selfish and narrow minded. They do not realize that they are part of world community and they can live happily only if entire humanity lives in harmony and equilibrium. If they do anything that can cause damage this delicate equilibrium, ultimately they all will suffer and will perish.

Bhakt: True Prabhu they do not realize that these incidents threaten the very existence of humanity. Why they can not understand such simple thing? This is against their own interest.

Bhagwan: They need to use some common sense for this, use their brain.

Bhakt: Using brain Prabhu....... Naaraayan !!! Naaraayan !!!
